The Chargers (6-3) and Bengals (4-6) will play an exciting NFL game tonight. In coach Jim Harbaugh’s first season, Justin Herbert will try to extend his team’s winning streak to three games and make a deep postseason run. For the 2024 season, Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase will try to get the Bengals back on track.

A strength-against-strength contest could result from this encounter. The Bengals’ passing and scoring attacks are both rated in the top ten, while the Chargers’ defense is the best (ranked No. 1). Who makes the first error could decide the outcome of this battle
Second Quarter:
Thanks to a pass interference by Kristian Fulton, Burrow and the Bengals offense once more made it to the Chargers’ red zone. However, the Chargers’ defense once more spectacularly blocked their path, forcing Evan McPherson to make a short field goal. The score stayed at 7–6.
After that, Herbert led a fantastic drive and made big-yard passes to Will Dissly and Quinton Johnston. The score was 14-6 after Herbert fired a second touchdown pass to Johnston from the Bengals’ 26-yard line.
The Bengals’ next attack was then sacking by Tuli Tuipulotu.
The offense was maintained by the Chargers. After a fantastic 30-yard scramble, Herbert caught Darius Davis for 14 yards. The Chargers had first and goal following a penalty. A jumping touchdown was scored by J.K. Dobbins.
Just before the first quarter ended, the Bengals went on the attack once more and converted a fourth-and-one. The Chargers kept the offense going. Herbert had a great 30-yard scramble and then a 14-yard catch to Darius Davis. After a penalty, the Chargers had first and goal. J.K. Dobbins scored a jumping touchdown on fourth down, making the score 21-6.
A few minutes later, the Chargers regained possession of the ball. In the first half, Herbert’s scrambles and passes gave them a 24-6 lead.
